What is it?
Help develop, plan and improve carer services including carer events and activities, in partnership with our team and other carers.
Respite and other support is available to help you to be involved.
Cost
A contribution to the cost of respite may be made, if needed. This will be discussed with the carer before the services start.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can be involved without a referral. Call our team to register.
Location
We can also provide this service in a location that suits you or over-the-phone.
We run events for carers to attend across the northern metropolitan region of Melbourne.

Who are carers?
Carers are family members and friends who look after someone who has problems managing at home or in the community without help. Carers can be parents, partners, spouses, young people, children and friends.
Are there any opportunities for carers to meet other carers?
Yes. We have a number of events during the year that can connect carers to other carers. We also run health and wellbeing events for carers to learn techniques to cope in their caring role.
How will will carer services help me?
We will listen to what you want and need and try to help you in your caring role. We have many services that you can choose from. It is important to talk to someone about your experiences and how you are coping.
