GP services now at Merri Health!

We are thrilled to announce that Merri Health is now providing GP services at the Brunswick Community Medical Centre (BCMC), a trusted practice that is co-located with our Glenlyon Road Brunswick site.

With GP-led care, we will support improved patient health outcomes, with doctors, allied health, and nursing staff working closely in collaboration.

Tassia Michaleas, CEO, Merri Health said, “We are delighted to extend the expert care and services Merri Health provide.

"With GP services now available, we will provide greater holistic health support, a better care experience for patients, more comprehensive services, and smoother coordination for our patients, clients and communities.” 

Providing GP services has been a priority in our aim to be responsive to the changing health and social needs of our diverse community, and to improve health outcomes.

Together with the expert team at BCMC, we look forward to providing:

• Better patient health outcomes through greater collaboration between GPs, and services already offered by Merri Health including allied health and nursing
• Strengthened continuity of care for patients, and holistic person-centred health care
• Improved system navigation and service coordination for our patients
