In July, team members from Merri Health Carer Services and Carer Gateway were at the Melbourne Source Kids expo; a family event that brings together top service providers and experts from the disability sector.
The event was a wonderful opportunity to connect with so many inspiring carers and hear their feedback on how the Carer Gateway program has positively impacted their lives.
A special shoutout goes to Carer Gateway’s talented in-house graphic designer, Nathan Hayward, whose stunning stall design won the “Most Impressive Design” award at the expo. His creativity and hard work truly made our booth stand out.
We were thrilled to have nearly 100 carers sign up to receive a callback from Carer Gateway and enter the draw to win a family zoo membership. The prize went to the Tully family, with the lucky family of six winning a year of unlimited free access to Melbourne Zoo, Werribee Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary and Kyabram Fauna Park!
Our success at the event was made possible by over a dozen staff members and carers who volunteered their time to help.
