Do you care for someone with dementia?
These three dementia information sessions have been developed to help you understand dementia and get you in touch with supports and services that can help you in your caring role.
Session one: Virtual dementia experience
This interactive session uses technology to enable you to ‘walk in the shoes’ of a person living with dementia. Gain an increased understanding of what it might be like to live with dementia followed by conversation with other carers.

Session two: Managing changed behaviours
Learn why behaviour can change when someone is living with dementia, and learn strategies to best support them.

Session three: Supporting meaningful engagement
It is important for all of us to be able to do things that are meaningful and give us joy. Having a diagnosis of dementia does not change this. This session will focus on how best to support people living with dementia to participate and engage in activities that are meaningful to them.
