2020 - now

Merri Health has continued to grow and expand our services and reach over the last four years to meet the health needs of our diverse community.

2020 saw great change as the COVID-19 pandemic impacted community and the health landscape. Merri Health become more agile to support the community, introducing telehealth for many services, COVID safety programs and vaccine support.

Our carer support expanded across Victoria, with Merri Health leading Carer Gateway services state-wide in partnership with seven other health organisations.

In 2022, we launched our Smile Squad free dental program in government primary and secondary schools.

Engaging with the community is a priority and in 2023, we launched our first Community Advisory Committee (CAC). CAC members work directly with us to develop better experiences and health outcomes for our whole community.

Our total income for the 2023 financial year, was $76,280,920 - more than double our income in 2019.

In July 2024, GP services became available through our Brunswick Community Medical Centre, complementing our 70+ existing services to provide wrap-around care for our community.
